A couple weeks ago I inquired about how to improve my photography through my camera settings. I've since discovered that the image modification software is maybe more important.

| This photo here I would have simply had to throw out. Even if cropped the lighting would be un-fixable on my earlier editing tools - it's just too yellow. Many other pics published in this very blog suffer from the problems I've been having with what I thought was mostly my camera. |

| But here it is with a lightning fast edit on Google's free software Picasa. Much better and after 30 minutes of photographing these guys in various formations and getting similar results to the first image, I was able to salvage the whole session with even better results than this one. |
I guess my point is, if you have a decent camera and can take a steady unblurred picture you should be able to improve it dramatically with a good photo editor. Picasa is absolutely free and has more options than many of the tools I had been using over the last few years.
